The owner of a new laundromat in Nixa, Missouri approached us to design a versatile brand for their retro-inspired laundromat. Their inspiration was based on the "atomic" design of the 1950s but they didn't want it to feel too vintage. Ultimately, we decided on a retro character design as the main logo with other retro elements and typography to support the brand. This allowed the client's desire for the brand to feel "clean and new" to stay prominent. The "minty-fresh" color palette helps bring home the feel of cleanliness for the brand.
